Adamimogo Communications Limited (ACL), operators of Adamimogo 105.1FM, has announced the departure of Joshua Adegbite as General Manager of the station.
The announcement was contained in a statement by the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Babatunde ‘Omo Edema’ Bamigboye, who commended Adegbite for his forthrightness, commitment and growth during his time with the organisation.
Bamigboye said Adegbite made significant contributions to the growth and development of Adamimogo 105.1FM, describing his tenure as valuable to the organisation.
He wished the outgoing General Manager success in his future endeavours, stressing that although Adegbite was leaving his role as General Manager, he remained a member of the wider ACL family.
“While Joshua is leaving the role of General Manager, he remains part of the wider ACL family. We appreciate his contributions to the organisation and wish him every success in his future endeavours,” Bamigboye said.
Meanwhile, ACL has confirmed the appointment of Fortune Omosola as Acting General Manager of Adamimogo 105.1FM.
According to Bamigboye, the appointment was approved by the Advisory Board led by Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede.
Omosola most recently served as Head of News and Current Affairs at the station.
He is an award-winning digital broadcast journalist with more than 15 years of experience in Nigeria’s media and broadcast industry. A graduate of Mass Communication, Omosola is a Reuters-certified journalist, an AHEAD-Guttmacher Institute Fellow, and a Fellow of the Liberalist Centre.
Beyond journalism, Omosola is a published author and poet, voice-over artiste, compere and media professional with a strong interest in storytelling and impactful communication.

His professional experience cuts across broadcast journalism, digital media, public affairs, creative writing and event presentation.
Fondly known as “The General,” Omosola is recognised for his distinctive voice, versatility and commitment to excellence in the media industry.
