A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Henrich Akomolafe, has commended residents of Ikere-Ekiti for what he described as an overwhelming show of support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji and Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye during a recent political rally in the local government area.
In a facebook post, Akomolafe, who is also a businessman and politician, said the large turnout witnessed at the rally reflected the growing confidence of the people in the administration’s leadership and developmental agenda.
According to him, the rally was not merely a political event but a demonstration of the people’s endorsement of the state government’s policies and grassroots-driven governance.
“Yesterday’s massive rally in Ikere Local Government was a clear demonstration of the overwhelming love and support our people have for the administration of Biodun Oyebanji and our amiable Deputy Governor, Monisade Afuye, a proud daughter of Ikere,” he said.
He noted that the energy, unity, and enthusiasm displayed by residents showed that the people of Ikere-Ekiti remain firmly committed to continuity and progress under the current administration.
“The crowd, energy, and unity displayed at the rally proved that Ikere stands firmly behind the vision of progress, continuity, and good governance being delivered across Ekiti State,” Akomolafe stated.
The APC chieftain further praised Deputy Governor Afuye for what he described as her loyalty and commitment to the development of the state, saying her role in governance continues to inspire many indigenes of the community.
“As sons and daughters of Ikere, we are proud to support our own Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Monisade Afuye, whose commitment and loyalty to the growth of Ekiti continue to inspire many,” he added.
Akomolafe maintained that the turnout at the rally reaffirmed the trust and confidence the people have in the Oyebanji administration.
“Ikere has spoken with one voice, we are solidly behind BAO and Her Excellency Monisade Afuye for the continued progress of our dear state,” he said.
