Martins Iyeh has become the first housemate to leave the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house after securing the lowest number of votes in the show’s first eviction round.
The eviction took place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, during the live eviction show, bringing Martins’ journey on the reality programme to an end in its third week.
The eviction was particularly emotional for the creative director and model, as he was sent out of the house on his birthday.
Martins, who hails from Kogi State, was among the 24 contestants introduced for the 11th season of the popular reality television show, themed “Show Ya Self.”
Known for his interest in basketball, Martins had described mind-reading as his hidden talent, while his strong curiosity and tendency to ask numerous questions also became part of his personality in the house.
His departure denies him an opportunity to continue the battle for the grand prize of N160 million.
The 2026 edition of BBNaija returned in July, bringing together 24 housemates to compete through a series of tasks, nominations, challenges and evictions while showcasing their personalities, relationships and individual strategies.
Now entering its third week, the competition has begun to intensify, with friendships taking shape, romantic interests emerging and tensions building among the housemates.
