Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been announced as the headline performer for the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game.
The Grammy Award-winning singer will perform during the clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, at the Stade de France in Paris.
The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time, with Burna Boy’s performance forming part of the NFL’s 2026 International Games programme.
According to the National Football League, the Paris show will be one of seven halftime performances staged across its international games in seven countries and four continents.
Reacting to the announcement, Burna Boy described his return to the Stade de France for the NFL event as significant, following his previous performance at the stadium.
NFL Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music and Entertainment, Tim Tubito, said Burna Boy was the ideal choice for the league’s first game in France.
He said the singer’s previous connection to the Stade de France and his influence on African music made his return particularly significant for the historic event.
