The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), popularly known as KAI, has apprehended 69 individuals, including six children, during an early morning enforcement operation across several parts of Lagos State.
According to the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, the operation was carried out in Oshodi, Alimosho, Ikeja, and other areas of the state as part of ongoing efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness and public order.
Wahab disclosed the arrests in a post shared on his official social media account, noting that 63 adults and six children were taken into custody during the exercise.
The commissioner reiterated the state government’s commitment to enforcing environmental laws and ensuring a cleaner and safer Lagos for residents.
