The Lagos State Police Command has called on residents to support ongoing efforts to combat crime across the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, made the appeal during an interview on Adamimogo FM, stressing that the fight against crime requires collective responsibility.
According to her, residents can assist law enforcement agencies by providing useful information on the activities and whereabouts of suspected cultists, armed robbers, and vandals to aid prompt intervention and arrests.
Adebisi also disclosed that the command will continue its routine stop-and-search operations on major roads as part of efforts to protect motorists and deter criminal activities.
She assured that the police remain committed to maintaining security and will not relent in making Lagos a safer and more conducive environment for residents.
