The Williams Banabas Foundation has provided food and financial support to physically challenged and other less privileged persons in Lagos as part of efforts to give hope and improve the wellbeing of vulnerable members of society.
The foundation, founded by Williams Barnabas, held its second food and financial empowerment programme on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos.
The initiative is focused on supporting people facing physical, social and economic challenges, while providing them with encouragement and practical assistance.
The Williams Barnabas Foundation caters to physically challenged persons, orphans, widows, homeless people and other less privileged members of society.
At the programme, beneficiaries received food items and financial support to assist with their immediate needs and encourage them to remain hopeful despite the challenges they face.
The founder, Williams Barnabas who is visually impaired said he established the foundation as part of his commitment to supporting people facing difficult circumstances and giving them hope.
The event also attracted members of the Adamimogo 93.1 FM team, led by the station’s General Manager, Sam Olugbeminiyi who reaffirmed the station’s commitment to supporting the Williams Barnabas Foundation and its humanitarian initiatives.
An award for was presented to the founder of Adamimogo FM, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo as well as his Ministry, CAC Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide for their contribution to to the foundation and visually impaired persons globally.
The awards were received on his behalf by the station’s General Manager, Sam Olugbeminiyi.
Another award was presented to the Head of Marketing at Adamimogo 93.1 FM, Mrs Victoria Okorodudu, in recognition of her contribution to the foundation’s activities.
Barnabas appreciated the beneficiaries, guests, supporters and organisations that attended the programme, and pledged that the foundation would continue to strengthen its efforts to support orphanages, widows, physically challenged persons, homeless people and other vulnerable members of society.
