Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has sworn in Professor Abibat Adubiaro as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chief Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff.
The two appointees who served in the same positions during Governor Oyebanji’s first administration took the oaths of office at about 2:21 pm on Tuesday at the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti.
Speaking at the ceremony, Oyebanji congratulated the appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to deliver, citing their performances during his first term.
The governor, however, urged them to improve on their previous achievements, set high standards and intensify their efforts, stressing that there would be no excuse for poor performance.
Mr Oyebanji also charged the officials to treat the people of Ekiti State with courtesy, compassion and humility, reminding them that the electorate’s votes had brought the administration to power.
Responding on behalf of both appointees, Professor Adubiaro thanked the governor for giving them another opportunity to serve and pledged their continued commitment to the administration’s agenda and the delivery of better services to the people of Ekiti State.
