Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited has announced that the official draw ceremony for the 2026 Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup will hold online at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 14th July, 2026.
The draw will feature only Local Football Council (LFC) Youth Teams that have successfully completed their team and players’ online registration. A total of 16 teams in the boys’ category are expected to participate, while the draw for the girls’ category will be conducted on a later date.
The exercise will be conducted by Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited and managed by Pelumi Abiara and Olamide Awoyinfa to ensure a transparent and professionally coordinated process.
All stakeholders, including team coordinators, coaches, players, journalists, football administrators, and supporters, are encouraged to join the online event as preparations gather momentum for the fifth edition of Ekiti State’s flagship grassroots football competition.
