Director of Technology, Market and Commerce for City Boy Movement (CBM) Ekiti and CEO of Oluwaloseyifunmi Mega City Phone Oluwaseyi Lawal Ayodele, has thrown his weight behind the Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup and pledged comprehensive support for the Emure Local Government team.
Ayodele while receiving the head of the organising committee of the competition, Mr. Pelumi Abiara, commended the sponsor of the competition, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode, describing him as a passionate lover of youth development whose efforts have inspired him personally.
He announced that quality jerseys will be presented to the Emure LG team this week, adding that he will also have a customized jersey made for himself to demonstrate his solidarity. In addition to the kits, Ayodele pledged financial, moral and physical support for the team throughout the tournament.
He further revealed plans to award special gifts to the Best Goalkeeper, Best Player, and Top Scorer of the competition.
While making the pledges, he called on other illustrious sons and daughters of Ekiti to support their respective local governments, emphasising the numerous social and developmental benefits that sports provides to the youth and the state at large.
