A depleted Super Eagles side came from two goals down to secure a 3-3 draw against Russia in an international friendly at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
Nigeria took the lead in the 10th minute when Kelechi Iheanacho fired a powerful effort from outside the box past the Russian goalkeeper.
Russia levelled in the 30th minute through Lechi Sadulaev, who capitalised on a defensive mix-up in the Nigerian box.
The hosts completed the turnaround shortly before half-time when Matvey Kislyak tapped in from close range to give Russia a 2-1 lead.
Russia extended its advantage in the 54th minute after Aleksey Miranchuk finished a well-worked move through the Nigerian defence.
The Super Eagles responded in the 78th minute when Osayande Edokpolor produced a stunning strike to reduce the deficit to 3-2.
Nigeria continued to push for an equaliser and completed the comeback in the fourth minute of stoppage time through Akor Adams.
Emmanuel Fernandez initiated the counter-attack before Umar Abdullahi set up Adams, who calmly finished the opportunity to rescue a draw for Nigeria.
Nine players made their Super Eagles debuts in the match as coach Éric Chelle fielded a youthful side heavily affected by player unavailability.
Seven players missed the friendly due to club restrictions, travel documentation issues and injuries, leaving Chelle with what the Nigeria Football Federation described as a seriously weakened squad.

The result came just days after Nigeria suffered a 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.
Russia, meanwhile, entered the encounter after victories over Iran and Namibia.
The Super Eagles and Russia had previously met in June 2025, when both sides played out a 1-1 draw at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Nigeria will return to action in November when the Super Eagles resume their 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign.
