The Lagos State Audit Service Commission (ASC) has organised a staff development session to strengthen the digital competencies of its workforce and promote the effective use of technology in public service delivery.
The training, themed “Mastering Your Digital Workspace,” was held at the Commission’s Conference Room in Alausa, Ikeja, as part of its continuous capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving productivity and operational efficiency.
The Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Oluwakemi Amudat Garbadeen-Adedeji, urged officers to embrace digital transformation and apply the knowledge gained to their daily responsibilities. She said the effective use of digital tools would simplify work processes, strengthen collaboration, promote innovation and improve service delivery.
Facilitators from Analoid Consult, Mr. Adeleye Oreoluwa and Mr. Bolaji Babalola, provided practical demonstrations on the use of Google Drive, audio transcription applications and ChatGPT. Participants also engaged in hands-on exercises designed to improve document management, collaboration and overall workplace productivity.
The Commission said the interactive session reflected its commitment to building a digitally proficient workforce capable of meeting the evolving demands of the modern public service.
