Minister of the Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has highlighted what he described as significant progress in Nigeria’s education sector under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to Tunji-Ojo, the administration is moving the sector from “disruption to stability” and from “barriers to opportunity,” with increased support aimed at improving access to quality education and expanding opportunities for Nigerian students.
He pointed to initiatives including stronger support for students, expanded access to tertiary education, interest-free student loans through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), improved scholarship opportunities, teacher development programmes, skills-focused learning and renewed investment in the education system.
Tunji-Ojo said the ongoing reforms go beyond policy, describing them as an investment in the future of Nigeria and its young people.
“Promises made! Progress delivered! Renewed Hope in education!” he said.
