For the third consecutive time, the Ikogosi Warmsprings Resort and Conference Center played host to over 40 traditional rulers across the sixteen local government areas in Ekiti state, with a serenade in cultural presentations and exquisite dishes in a warm atmosphere.
The pre-event to the “TRADITIONAL RULERS RETREAT 3.0” – the brainchild of Agbeyewa Farms, a subsidiary of Cavista Holdings Limited, treated the rulers to the beautiful moment at its famous TreeHouse Bar, exclusive to the Ikogosi Warmsprings Resort.
Welcoming the revered rulers and Chairman, Cavista Holdings Limited, Director, Community Engagement, Agbeyewa farms, Dauda Lawal, re-echoed the vision of Niyi John Olajide, in whose clarity, Glocient Hospitality Limited, another subsidiary of Cavista, transformed a once written-off project into a life-changing journey.
He ravished the moment by highlighting the consecutive awards received by the Resort – the best holiday resort in Nigeria, twice in a row.
Also speaking, Chairman, Ekiti Council of Obas, the Ogoga of Ikere, Oba Jimi Adu, beamed with delight at the immense transformation that has taken place at Ikogosi, positioning it as the best in Africa, in only four years of its existence.
The Oba further showered encomiums on the visioner behind the transformation, charging staff and associates to live the vision as imprinted by John Olajide.
Showing praises on John Olajide and his conglomerate, the Ooni of Ife, described him as the son of the soil who came to the rescue of the state and the nation at the time it was most needed. He challenged visionaries like him to follow his steps for a better Ekiti and Nigeria.
He also urged the Obas not to relent in their continuous support for the gigantic investment ideas of John Olajide, which are set to establish millions of youths and sustain nations of the world.
Notable figures in attendance were the Chairman, Cavista Holdings Limited, John Niyi Olajide, the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the leader of Ekiti traditional rulers, the Ogoga of Ikere, Oba Samuel Adu, Onire of Ire-Ekiti, Oba Victor Bobade, the Oloye of Oye, Oba Michael Ademolaju, amongst others.
The retreat is scheduled for Wednesday, 15th April, 2026, with more exciting moments for the traditional rulers and invited guests at the Iconic Resort.
