The Media Coalition for Social Behaviour Change (Media SBC) has announced a strategic partnership with Adamimogo 105.1FM aimed at expanding health-focused programming and deepening public awareness across Oyo State.
Speaking during a meeting with the station’s management, the coalition’s coordinator, Jemilah Elegbede, said the collaboration is driven by a shared commitment to public enlightenment, particularly in the area of health education.
She also noted that the initiative would prioritise the development of engaging and informative health-related content tailored to the needs of residents.
Elegbede maintained that Media SBC’s main objective is to influence positive behavioural change through strategic communication, adding that the partnership with the radio station would serve as a vital platform to reach wider audiences with accurate health information.
In his response, the General Manager of the station, Joshua Adegbite, welcomed the collaboration, stating that the station remains open to partnerships that align with its broadcasting values and mission of public service.
Also speaking, Adetoke Olaleye commended the station for prioritising the public interest, describing the partnership as a step in the right direction towards strengthening health communication in the state.
The collaboration is expected to enhance the quality and reach of health-related programming, reinforcing the critical role of media platforms in promoting awareness, preventive care, and informed decision-making among the populace.
